Small Block with stock bore space No minimum weight
Small Block with non-stock bore space 2150 lbs (deduct 100 lbs less then 550ci)
Big Block 4.840” & 4.900” bore space 2250 lbs (deduct 100 lbs if less then 550ci)

Big Block 5.200” bore space 2550 lbs

Any Turbo Charged or Supercharged combination utilizing Big Block with bore spacing larger than 5.00” & non-stock bore space Small Block add 100 lbs to above weight
Maximum engine size on all Turbo Charged engines 670ci
Maximum Turbo size 94 mm on all Twin Turbo combinations
Alcohol permitted on non-intercooled cars only, alcohol and intercooler permitted on 4 & 6 cylinder cars. Forced Induction cars utilizing racing gas deduct 100 lbs. Nitro-methane prohibited

GENERAL RACER REGULATIONS

NHRA Pro ladder and safety tech
Minimum Ground clearance of 3” from front of nose to 12” behind the front spindle
Towing allowed but you must stop at scales.
All cars must scale following every qualifying and elimination run. Failure to do so will be considered forfeiting the run. If you pass the scales without scaling you forfeit the run. **If you break the beams you need to scale**
Deep staging allowed, but starter will not wait for racer to get deep. Auto start will be on at ALL times. Once both vehicles are pre-staged either side stage light will activate a 7 second auto-start. Once your competitor stages, you will have 7 seconds to stage. If you fail to stage within that time the tree will automatically activate and you will be disqualified. Disqualifications will be based on a first or worse basis in accordance with the NHRA rulebook. Controversial decisions not covered by the NHRA rule book will be determined by the race director. Courtesy staging is encouraged but not enforced.
All drivers must alternate lanes during qualifying. If you choose to ignore this rule, your second consecutive pass in the same lane will be disqualified.
Any cylinder head is allowed as long as ONLY 1 spark plug per cylinder is functional.
Entries may utilize ONLY 1 distributor or Mag.
Air Bottles on N/A, Supercharged and Turbo Charged entries are to be filled with CO2 only. The use of Nitrous Oxide in place of CO2 is PROHIBITED.
All fuels used are to be unmodified fuel as produced by the original manufacturer and must be commercially available. The use of fuel additives is PROHIBITED. All entries are subject to fuel check at any time.
The use of specially produced “one off” parts that are not commercially available and are deemed by race director to have a performance advantage is PROHIBITED.
Head & Neck restraint MANDATORY
Lower engine containment device MANDATORY
Maximum front overhang 45” measured from the centerline of the front spindles
NHRA chassis certification MANDATORY
Any bias slick allowed with 33 x 10.5 W or less molded on sidewall by manufacturer (Max 105” Role-out ) (NO RADIAL TIRE ALLOWED)
If your combo does not clearly fit into the current rules – it must be brought to the attention of the Race Director PRIOR to the event so that formal additions to the written rules can be made if need be.
All racers must complete, sign & submit a “Combo/Weight Acknowledgement Sheet” to the Race Director, prior to their first pass, in order to establish and confirm allowable race weight. If at any time it is determined that the submitted information is incorrect – it will be grounds for instant disqualification from the event.

RULES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE AT ANY TIME WITHOUT NOTICE IN ORDER TO KEEP PARITY IN THE CLASS. RACE DIRECTOR RESERVES THE RIGHT FOR ANY CHANGES AT ANY TIME - INCLUDING DURING EVENT.

Do wish our track would step up and cover the gate fee and crew like the rest of the tracks though!
Man that would be nice! At least its nice and close for us locals, so the fuel savings offsets the entrance. Another thing that i like about the local american 10.5 races is that they appreciate you making the effort to come out, and want you to be there. You are treated very well, which in my mind is just as nice as having no gate fee lol we always look forward to the races south of the border, great people to race with :)
