I just switched cams and springs, went from a PAC 1330 to PAC 1225's. What is the main difference between the 1200 series and the 1300 series?

The 1300 series is supposed to have some additional finishing processes for greater longevity and to reduce the likelihood of spring breakage.

There's quite a bit different between those 2 springs beyond just the series. I'm guessing either you changed combos or you think you don't need as much spring as you had?

Is the wire the same between them. And how much longer would a 1300 last over 1200 on same set up

Yes switched cams. Too much street driving for the the other springs and cam ramp profiles

The PSI springs seem to start where PAC leaves off. PAC is an excellent spring, no doubt. PSI is at another level.

I heard from people that had good luck with either PSI or PAC, more makes a difference with proper spring for application.
The 1300 series have more work done to them, make them last longer.
If you're not stressing springs much, 1200 series might work just fine.

This is why you need to do your homework before you buy valves and retainers. To me its always better to use a spring afew grades better and install them without killing them so they will last. Installed height is the key to spring life not killing them yet still have surge control and long life. You can,t do that with a short valve and have to be near coil bind to control them. Lift and duration (lobe profile) appropriate.

Springs will always cause debate. Experience will teach you otherwise.
You gotta ask yourself being a cheap ass is not the place for springs, witch can destroy your motor.
