Mark the 049 should be open chamber and I think 119 cc chamber. 215 is a good CC head about 106 cc IIRC.

Look at the Flotek 290 head. There 112cc out of the box. BUT can be milled to 102. All new and in the $1000-1500 range ready to bolt on.
I looked again at the flotek heads, and the flow numbers surprised me. The 290’s flow more than their bigger cc heads. I also see that there are different exhaust port heights: .360 for the 290, .375 for the 315, and .500 for the 320 head.

781 or 049's will blow the closed chambered stuff away power wise. Not worth the swap.

Oh, and I looked at Chad’s site and he’s not doing Flotek’s anymore?
Ya I seen that on his site. I would think he still works with them BUT I can not say for sure that he does. If someone is thinking new heads, I would for sure reach out to Chad for a set of these.

KwikSS at about $1,000.00 LESS then the AFR 265, I would for sure go with the Flotek head in this application. Still will work very very well on a mild 468 with the added benefit of being there if more is needed.

215 closed chamber are pretty close power wise to 781's from what some of the guys are doing. Just don't think there as many casting around for them.
