I had a good afternoon at the engine builders today I was hoping
for a little more on the dyno but very pleased with the end results.
409 original block! 475 CI She made 782.7 HP @7400RPM & 580 FPT

Hmm, links aren't working for me.... sounds impressive, love them nastalgia's.

Very impressive sir! Can you list some of the basic specs and what class it was competing in? Post #3 doesn't work.

I just race Nostalgia super stock or Nostalgia races with the 62 and will do the same with 61 these are both 409 blocks with 4”strock cranks and lots of goodies

Love the 62 Biscayne and impalas - cool car
and with high performance 409s :cool:

Had a 1962 impala 327 hardtop as my driver in the mid 80's

Awesome love the 409 cars. There is a gentleman here that has a nice 64 4 speed 409 impala street car that he has raced since it was brand new.

both 409 blocks with 4”strock cranks and lots of goodies

I want to build a 63 Biscuit with a stick. What heads, intake, pistons ,etc are you using. I'm guessing you used a 454 crank turned down. You can P.M. with the details.

What intake is that on the 409? Looks quite vintage. I bet that makes some impression when you open the hood. Very nice!
