Does anybody know if you could cut down a distributor to work AS a plug when using theJESEL FRONT DRIVE DISTRIBUTOR KIT?looking for plug if anybody has one. pt# 8513 msd...

Sure why not, As long as you can support the top of the shaft and keep it from leaking. Another cheap way out is to go find a late LT-1 and use the oil pump drive from it. you will have make a boss to bolt it to in the block then put a freeze plug in the intake.

Doesn't the distrubtor housing have a passage to direct oil to the lifter galley? Seems like a freeze plug will only stop the hole. I think you need to use the housing to have a workable oil system.
