I am posting for a friend here.
He as some oil in the exhaust side of one turbo the oil went in the turbo after lifting was ok during the run.

This happened twice on different turbo theses are new ones same thing happened on the previous one this is the reason he replaced them.

What could be the cause of it?

I run -10 on my drain, runs to a exa-pump and back to pan. Some guys recommend -12 so -8 might be too small depending on the turbo, drain slope, fitting bores etc. Ball bearing turbo would require less drainage than journal.

It always happen when he lift at the end.
This pump scavenge the oil back to the pan ?

why is this appening when he lift les oil pressure and the oil from the pan wants to go back to the turbo? some engine blow by?
just want to make sure it is not related to another problem.

-8 is to small, I run -12 on mine.
Where in the pan is the turbos draining?

just talk to my friend they are -10 not -8.
If it does not drain fast enough is the oil press increasing in the turbo?
are the turbo seals damaged?

Where do his drains return to? If they are in the front of the pan oil may be covering the return holes on deceleration.

The drain should NEVER be pressurized. It needs to be gravity fed only. Any pressure in the drain will cause a leak.
