Whats a relatively safe limit on these stock 6.0L blocks in n/a form. Ive only really paid attention to turbo stuff in the past.

I plan on at least 850hp na. Very good factory block. I wouldn't go more than .030 over on the bore.
Depending on the amount of core shift, iron 6.0 blocks regularly go 4.125" for an N/A build. 4.060"-4.080" is good for boost.

The block in raw form at 4.060" is good for 1200-1300 HP. Filled, they're good for 2000+.

Are we talking the LSX or LQ4/LQ9. I've always read 4.060 over on the LQ4/LQ9 factory block was really pushing it. The LSX block is a totally different ballgame.

Lq4/Lq9. You just have to watch for core shift and to sonic check the sleeve thickness.

Is a 6 bolt conversion like ERL offers necessary at around 800 or are they fine with ARP studs?

Depends on things like heads used and how much boost. Generally, you can get by with just ARP studs but it is recommend to upgrade to 1/2 studs if you want to push the 4 bolts.
