So, shannon runs 6.20s and 6.10s in pro mod, he had to run 300lbs heavier in vegas, so he ran right where he should have, 6.40s.
...yup!, and he didn't have no 812 inch motor either...like someone else had.....hehehehehehheehehh :-D
No, he only had a 737 with 4-5 stages, compared to bill's 2. And your hero blew his engine up.
....lucky he didn't turn the other 2 on ..huh?...lol

...at least he won, on a level playing filed :-D

Until he ran Bill Glidden  I was really bummed out to have not made a run :( But I guess he knew he had better run well, hehehehe .009 to .089. BG

The car will not accellorate correctly. I am not too sure why, we ran after wfc and made it run on just engine, so we geared it as such, then it ran 1.020-1.024 every run. But with the nitrous and geared for nitrous, it runs 1.08? I don't know if it is the wheelbase or not? But 20inches of wheelbase would make some sort of differance, so would several years worth of running the combo. Oh well, we did what we could, and almost made it work out, thanks BG

....I can't speak for your combo as I know nothing about it, but here is food for thought......

,,,,the Sonny's style "Hemi" heads, have been tested with nitrous and found to be so" fast", that the motor won't "fill" with nitrous, Sonny was doing a program where it slows the head down some so it would fill up with nitrous.......now I assume you are using a "hemi" style ford deal, so maybe you might be in the same boat?...the head maybe too fast?

....I'm no guru at all, but I do have friends, and we've played a little with what I've just stated since we use one stage and I want to fill it up as much as possible...and as fast as I can, and since I have it geard low, if the bottle pressure drops real low in the staging lanes it won't rpm at all, when I leave and it just plane runs like crap, but if the bottle pressure is real high it will take all I can give it and the graphs all look real good, and it won't burn up either, I only burn it when I get agressive with timing
I am truely too simple to understand all that mumbo jumbo? But if it were not accepting the nitrous, or in any way not useing it, it would not run like it does, it is a tune problem with the car, or the gearing, or all of the above, I bet if we were running it more, it would be a bad hombre!!!!!!! [email protected]@219.54. Shannon Jenkins [email protected]@216.48. Best I can tell, we were outrunning him pretty much in the back, and had a stage or two less? BG

...definatley a shocking front half....but real nice on the back half I must say......

....don't worry ,the 'ole man was looking over his shoulder for you and his foot was on the back of the cyl. head.....lol

...again great run for you.

Well, I've said my peace, good and bad...the good I stand by...the bad I could of probably done with out.. and Bill has said his, and maybe it's time to move on, my kids are starting to get more involved with this racing stuff, and they.....do read :?
My best in the car, and this was set up like this, and tested, but was never raced like this? [email protected], then went totally side ways about 800ft. [email protected] BG
Well Johnny, I have to admitt I'm pleasantly surprised. Good stuff.

...have you tried to increase wheel-speed down low and saw any difference?...are you going through the first couple of gears too fast?....just thoughts....

....I went from a 2.20 first gear in a turbo 400...to a 2.10 and it loved it....so I went to a glide with a 1.82 first gear ...and it liked it more....sooooo I went to a 1.76 and that is what I use today, the longer I could stay in 1st gear the better....maybe too bad they don't make a 1.60...lol

...I know stick and 'matics are different....but I'm just talking principle here...with ALL that low end tourque....maybe being in 1st gear a ton more might help acceleration...?
