November 7-9: 19th annual Haltech World Cup Finals - Import vs Domestic

The 10.00 Index, 10.50 Index, and 11.50 Index classes will be qualified 32 car fields (Instead of All-Run Fields) and placed on a ladder first round this year at the 19th annual Haltech World Cup Finals. All non-qualifiers may compete in the Second Chance Race on Sunday evening.
There will be 2 qualifiers on Friday and 1 qualifier on Saturday morning for 10.00 Index, 10.50 Index, and 11.50 Index. Then on Saturday evening first round will start for the Index classes, and Round #2 will resume on Sunday morning along with Round #1 of the Heads-Up classes.
These changes will eliminate close to 200 Index cars from Sunday's competition and speed up the event to make it better for our racers and fans, and get it completed at a reasonable hour. It is our goal to have the entire event on Sunday completed between 6pm-7pm for all classes.
Also all FWD cars in 10.00, 10.50, and 11.50 Index classes this year will be required to have a blanket or a catch pan to compete.
The 12.50 Index class has been dropped this year to give more track time and room in the pit area for the faster classes.

We have made changes to the 2014 WCF Event Schedule to make the race even better for our racers and fans!
All 7 Heads-Up classes in 2014 will remain qualified 32-car fields. All 3 Index classes will now be qualified 32-car fields, instead of All-Run fields as they have been in the past. Also the 12.50 Index class for 2014 has been dropped to add more track time and room in the pit area for the faster classes. Also all FWD cars in the Index classes are required to have an Engine Diaper or an Engine Catch Pan this year.
Gates will open on Thursday one hour earlier than last year and tech inspection will open on Thursday evening after the Early Bird Test Session as it has in the past.
On Friday there will be 2 qualifiers for the 3 Index classes and 2 qualifiers for the 7 Heads-Up classes.
On Saturday there will be 1 qualifier for the 3 Index classes in the morning and 2 qualifiers for the 7 Heads-Up classes. First round of the 3 Index classes will now start on Saturday evening with 32-Car Ladders.
On Sunday morning, second round of the 3 Index classes will resume with 16 cars in each class remaining, followed by first round of the 7 Heads-Up classes with 32-Car Ladders. We will also be running a Second Chance Race for Non-Qualifiers in between cool down rounds of the Heads-Up and Index classes to keep the track live and warm.
By dropping 1 Index class and reducing the size of the other 3 Index classes to qualified 32-Car fields and starting first round of the Index classes on Saturday evening, this will dramatically speed up the completion of the event.
It is our goal with these changes to have the event completed between 6pm-7pm on Sunday.

Pre-Registration for the Gary Best Kustumz Car Show is now open for the 19th annual Haltech World Cup Finals on Sunday, November 9, 2014.
There will be $1,000 in cash payouts, plus 75 trophies awarded in the Car Show!
The car show is now limited to 200 cars, and all car show entries must pre-register in advance for the event. Cars must be of car show quality and cannot be your daily driver. We will no longer be selling car show entries on the day of the event. Once 200 cars have been pre-registered and approved, the car show will be sold out. All 200 car show entries will be guaranteed a parking spot on asphalt on Sunday.
In order to enter the car show you must mail in your Pre-Registration form, photos of your car, and your $50 payment (which includes driver admission for Sunday). Any additional general admission tickets can be purchased the day of the event.

There has been some minor tweaks to the imports and lots of changes to the domestics this year to make even better parity at WCF! Also if you are running NMRA, NMCA, IHRA, MPC, Ram, or Ultra Street be sure to check out the Cross Over Class rules!

The Car Show is now limited to 200 cars so we have more room for racers, not 500 as in the past. Don't worry we made great changes to the event.

i saw you updated the GTX55-88 weight from the inline stock angle heads being 3300 and the canted valve heads being 3250. but you have both stock valve angle heads and canted valve heads at 3250 now. is this right? or is it 3200/3250 then the 50 off for the 8.2

is there a reason behind this??? no way for a stock valve angle headed car to hang with a neal/SC1 headed motor at the same weight.

In the all motor class, for LS powered cars, it says:
Cylinder Heads: Un-ported as cast heads only, porting prohibited. Any valve job, no milling of cylinder head. OEM heads only are permitted with the following casting numbers: 241, 243, 317, 706, 799, 821, 823, 853, 862, 5364, 8452.
No does this mean only OEM heads, or can you also run a say PRC or Trickflow As Cast style head?
