We don't build many footbrake cars, but this one is kind of interesting. It is the replacement car for footbrake racer Lenny Hall. He wrecked his original 63 at Cecil last year and wanted something that looked as close to a stocker as possible. Drove it out of the shop and into his trailer today. Should be at Maple Grove Super Chevy next week. The only problem is how to slow it down to run 9.00

No. He got a deal on a car Hadman built for Fuller. Paid about 25 cents on the dollar. We did a bunch of work on it to get it ready. So far so good, still creeping up on the tune up. I will post some more pics of a another car that should be leaving tomorrow. Nothing like a bracket car that runs 5.70. Only problem is it doesn't have doors....

2050 race ready. Its heavy in my book. The body with the windows, bumpers ect weighs 430 lbs! It should have been about 1850, but he wanted a thick body that the painter could get super straight.
Car looks awesome. What does it weigh?

A sweet Vette for sure, props for a beautiful car, but, I cannot understand how car's like this are allowed in footbrake. Around here there are 4 second cars in footbrake, $200,000 cars in footbrake,I've seen 10.5 outlaw cars in footbrake, I thought the class came about for the low budget racer. Not trying to bust anyone's balls on this Im just trying to figure out why you would build a car like that to run for $500 to $1000 at most local tracks. I have 2 footbrake cars with less than $20,000 invested in each car,I travel to $5000 and up races and it amazes me what shows up in the class.

That is a beautiful car as well as the craftsmanship.
I hear the gripes about the footbrake class, You can pull up in your minivan and smoke the competion with the only factor being what radio station to listen going down the track.
Anything slower than say 14.00 should have their own class. I understand to each his own and build what you want and have fun but when you race a stock dually or minivan it just sucks ( and lose on top of that)
