just about ready to go to track with my street car and i really want to spray it on pump gas.i will list some specs and if you have any advice i would appreciate it..like most guys i sprayed with pump gas back when i had a 454 but this motor cost alot more than back then..a good place to start on timing would be nice..i was thinking about 30degrees
right now its jetted 65n and 55f at 6psi flowed through a 73 jet.its a big shot plate.i think this around 150hp
605in bbc with 360cc heads
9.1 comp
dart intake
prosystems 4150 carb(over 1000cfm)
solid street roller
260/266 at .050
.668/.678
on a 114 and installed at 114
valve timing
intake open 16 close 64
exhaust open 67 close 19

i have driven it around the block and it pulls like a freight train on motor,i went to 6200 and it was still pulling..i plan to shift at 6200,timing is at 40 on motor but plan to make some motor passes to see what it likes on motor.i doubt i would ever go over 250hp spray and not for a while...i can reterd up to 20degrees with my current ignition setup.the car weighs a little over 3900 with me and i hope for 10's on motor 9's on a 150hp shot.just has the stock sumped tank with a bg400 pump in the rear.

let me know what you think guys.

start small...im not a cam guru, but seems like a baby cam for 605 cubes...with the low compression itll really be a shot in the arm! my car is 10:1 and different animal on the spray

its built to be a torque monster and it is...and very responsive..supposed to pull to around 6300 is what they said...well it does and never loses the pin you back in the seat feeling...couldnt be happier with motor thats for sure.plan do a compression check tomorrow just to see where it is.
