The 9" converters work very well if properly setup. What rpm are you actually launching at?
What steps have you made to try and control the starting line tire spin.
What were the ET's and what slip numbers did the combination produce at the finish line.
Tighter is not always better and yes most nitrous converters end up in the 3800 to 4500 rpm stall range.
