And its not Thriller!
No, it's not. MJ made the list with the #58 song, "Billie Jean" and again with the #337 song, "Beat it". Dylan made the list with 12 songs including the #1 song, "Like a Rolling Stone". His next song was #14, "Blowin' in the Wind".

The song list was chosen based on votes by 172 musicians, critics, and music industry figures.

Intereting list. Almost looks like a most influential list more than a "greatest" list.

Nirvana - "smells like teen sprit" is not int he top 10 greatest songs IMHO, BUT I would say it is very likely top 10 influential.

Chuck Berry, The Beatles, Elvis, Nirvana, Madonna, Run DMC, Beastie Boys, Led Zepplin, ROlling Stones, various rock and 80 hair bands, and many others I didn't list all had major influences on music.

I would be curious to know how many other songs are on that list that he wrote, but fortunately did not sing.

What's a matter George did I hit a sore spot, what was your favorite part about the Beatles, their pretty hair, or was it Yoko Ono you were into?
You had to have been there. Before the Beatles, popular songs included "How Much Was That Doggie in the Window" and "She Wore a Yellow Polka Dot Bikini".
