I am leaving on 150 now and would like to maybe add another 150 down track. Car runs 1/8th mile 6.80's on spray now at 101mph. rpm performer heads and systemax upper and lower efi. Fuel system upgrades in place to handle hp.

I had a XXX 87 block with twisted wedge heads and gt40 intake. 150shot, ran that engine for 6 years without a problem. Would run 11.80's on the motor and 10.60's on nitrous, 5 speed car. Never ran the nitrous at lower than 6500feet, so I am not sure how fast it would have gone at a close to sea level track.

then I had a 302, victor jr heads, carb, big shot plate. ran [email protected] on a 200shot. engine is still around, my buddy made it a 347 and nothing was wrong with the block.

These blocks are hit and miss. I now people that have destroyed blocks at 100hp because their tune was off. then I know of people that have hit it with 300 and survived 9 second passes.

150 -175 for 4 yrs with no problems,sold the short block and its still running!

i put a nos dry kit on my 95 hypereutectic motor.180k miles,stock fuel pump,19lb injectors.with 9 degrees timing i spreyed 225 to it for a while.the motor is still running great in a friends car.
