I watched him make this, last night on a cookign show. I wanted to eat the TV...

I have never heard of doing it this way. Inside the log is ham, whole hard boiled eggs and provolne cheese.

my dad used to put hard boiled eggs in the middle of meatloaf once in a while, it was good!
when ever I make it I never have hard boiled eggs ready to go...

For a change used to make it with sauage inside - mild or hot italian or hot portuguese - depends on how spicy you like.

Slice the round ends off the eggs and you can tighten it up a bit, not so much white.

I always put a few pieces of string cheese in the middle when making it......nice flavor.....

Never heard of doing that. Cook the sausage first???

I usually cook 2~3 loafs at the same time for about 1.5 hrs at 350F. Sauage cooks inside no problem.
