So I'm Looking At The 2014 150's, and 250's. I want to down size from my dullie, and get a more day to day friendly truck. It's going to be driven daily,and pulling my 24' enclosed trailer with my dragster. I would like to hear how you guys like yours, or maybe what you would have done differently. I will be pulling about 5000 to 5500 lbs with it, so tell me what engine combos you are running.

2011 F150 5.0 crew cab 4x4 best truck I've ever had .360 hp and gets good mileage with 3.55 gears and the towing package .137,000 miles and the only time it been in the shop was for a defective battery at 4 months old. I have pulled a 24 enclosed trailer .I would recomend rear air bags for towing one.

Had a 2011 f150 with super crew 4Dr and 5.0 motor. Had 24,000 when I got rid of it and got a 2014 stx with same power train. I two a 24ft enclosed total around 7.800lbs and have no complaints. Only reason I got rid of 2011 for the 2014 is I wanted a white truck to match trailer.

I'm not sure about getting the 15 yet. I'm not one to jump on the new model right away. I'll wait to see how the new aluminum body does.

If you are thinking diesel and want new - buy the 2015MY, it has a lot of problem areas addressed from past years.

I'd go 250, 6.2 gasser.

I would rather have a gas. I've had a diesel since 1991, so time for a change.

From looking at the specs, the F150 with the 6.2 looks pretty stout. We have a Ford dealership right next door to the shop, so may have to do some test driving next week.

880 ft. lbs of torque for the 2015 6.7 PS

I drive a 2013 F-150 STX 2wd x-cab with the 5.0.
Love that truck.
21 -22 mpg highway and plenty of power to pull a 7K trailer.

5500lbs? and you have a dually now to tow it with, not to be rude but you could haul your setup In a tacoma. I regularly have 3k in the bed on my v6 gmc no bags no problems. Get the new 2.7l ecoboost's f150, one bad mofo
