Simply put, Michigan Motor Sports Entertainment Park will not be a
typical Motor Sports venue. The Automotive Country Club will be a
private, members only automotive themed club where members come
first, enjoying almost unlimited track time and first class amenities.
Membership will be strictly limited to maximize both safety and pleasure
Sounds like the same concept as NJMP which is right near me. They'll sell it hard to the community like it'll help, but the obvious goal is self-contained business. FYI, NJMP went bankrupt and was bought out. It's still nowhere near the third stage of the projected plan.
They're all modeled after VIR, which has been successful for many, many years. Unfortunately, right now is the wrong time to be trying to pull it off and there's a difference between having a club around one of the country's most challenging road courses that hosts a variety of significant national events and having a club around an average, relatively simple road course.
