We used to use the Tials and HKS. We got rid of both and use nothing but JGS. 100% American made too. No diaphragms either!

Don't think you can go wrong with either Tial or Turbosmart. We've been selling Tial for a long time and have never had any issues. Personally I'd stick to Tial, HKS, or Turbosmart gates I think I've heard bad stories about pretty much every other gate out there besides those three.

x2

alot of the stories are derived from pub drinking sessions..
i only use JGS or turbonetics...

everyone has there own likes...

walk round the pits and see what the most used gates brands are.
then make your mind up with that and your budget allows.

i also dislike the jgs (50mm). i went thru 3 of them before i got one that worked. the first one leaked massively aroung the housing o-rings. the second one was machined incorrectly in the valve guide and was setting crooked. causing the valve not seat correctly.

TURBOSMART!

Honestly tho, we have used Tial for probably 5-6 years and they are great products. Alot of our customers were asking "why the switch"

Then they get a turbosmart product in there hands.

They get it now. The Turbosmart stuff is just that good.
