I got a 406 with 10to1 compression afr heads,roller cam victor jr.my problem i have a 850 QUICK fuel carb.76 in the front 84 in the rear for jet 4.5 power valve it seems to run good but it keeps fouling plugs about every 2 or three passes ive tryed jetting down but that didnt help im stumped right now thinking of trying a smaller carb .any help thank you.

Here is the list of things to check .Check for a bad powervalve , excessive fuel pressure , improper float adjustment , Check to see if a main jet fell out . You might want to idle the engine higher and properly adjust the air fuel screws . Thats all I can think of to start .

What's the vacum reading at idle ? is it steady ?

Are you using viton tip needles and seats with pump gas ( they don't like the alchohol) . I've also heard that the clear veiw sight plugs don't like it either.
