we have a 406 ci short block we plan to graft into an old fox body mustang for pure weekend street and strip fun - 700r4 manual v body & 10 inch TCI tweaked by them to 4K stall
Its a stock 400 block (bored & decked) gm crank & rods, TRW L2352 pistons
I plan to donate my old Sportsman II's 200cc heads off my retired 355ci
64cc intake (decked probably 60cc now) Victor Jr & modified 750cfm Pro Systems carb to the effort -
heads were set for old Crower 00355 (105* lobe) solid flat tappet cam
INTAKE: Duration: 276º (244* @.050) Lift: .503 Clearance Hot: .022
EXHAUST: Duration: 282º (250*@.050) Lift: .518 Clearance Hot: .024
spring pressure: closed: 105/115 LBS. open: 320/330 LBS.
but I am not for stripping down my 355ci short block
so we are loooking for a snappy sounds/runs like roller/on the cheap modern grind solid flat tappet cam
whats my go to choice these days
