im getting ready to install my strange 31 spline axles and c clip elimanators , what sealer do you guys use ? the car is driven on the street daily if its nice. just want to make sure it dosent leak. thanks for any input guys

i used ultra black but they just started weeping ..........i thought i did it perfect. anyone care to add some info please?

Use ultra black also, load it up on everything but the bearing itself

Often overlooked tip.........

Use Acetone to clean surfaces (as in white glove clean!) before applying any silicone!

I clean the living shit out of them first with acetone and then with denatured alcohol and let them dry for a hour. Then use a product called Geocell and let it set up for 2 days before you add the lube. I used it on a street driven car i built 6 years ago and still no leaks.

Brake clean, and ultra black.

i used the gray about 2 years ago i dont have any issues so far i was like whats the difference besides the black smell like vinegar?

i cleaned all surfaces with brake clean and then loaded everything up with ultra black, i guess ill do it all over to stop the weeping........

Clean with with acetone or brake clean then "The Right Stuff" more expensive than ultra black but worth every penny.
oh and give it a day to set up before filling if possible
