He had his pet scan last Friday, and we find out the results tomorrow afternoon. No matter what happens, we're not out of the woods, but if the scan is clear, he may have many months, possibly years, still with us.

Yes, he's actually doing very well. The hair loss has been the only major side effect to the treatment. He's still a total wise ass, which is awesome. lol He says he feels great...does yard work, walks, does his garden thing.

He hasn't had a beer or a cigarette in about 4 months now.

BTW, if the scan is clear, he's done with chemo and will just be getting CT scans every 3 months.

YEAH THE CHEMO'S TUFF TO DEAL WITH IT ALWAYS MADE MY PARENTS REAL SICK. ITS GOOD THAT HE FEELS GOOD. OPTIMISM IS ALOT OF THE BATTLE.

Only his very last round made him feel sick, but everyone's chemo formulation is different. I don't remember it all now, but his was pretty interesting..mostly natural stuff.
