ive got an 03 cobra. im looking to change the wheels on the rear. i had a set of 15 x 10 with 6"bs with a 28x 10.5 phoenix slick and they stuck out the fenders. looked like crapola. ive seen guys put a 325/50/15 MT drag radial under there. thats what i want to do and have them tuck like theyre supposed to. the car does have a solid axle. IRS is gone. it has a solid 8.8 from a 98 cobra. what size back spacing do i need to make this happen? is a 7" too much? should i go with a 6.5"? all help is appreciated. i figured some drag radial guys could help

How much did they stick out? Do you have 1" of room on the inside? What is the widest tire you will run?

My 8.8 is narrowed 1.5" and I run 6"BS with 28x10.5W's rubs a little on the pass side so I run thin spacer.
(My fenders are rolled and the hammer got a workout)

If you dont mind running a spacer you can do 7's then use a spacer to put them exactly where you want.
