when i launch & the ft wheels are up , i'm going left .was wondering on a fox body mustang (91') what to adjust ? seems like the upper control arms just move the rear side to side when i adjust them. i have adjustable lowers . do i adjust them ?

thank you for your time

I fought this all last year check the ride height on the front first thing. if that is not it legnthen the passanger side upper control arm 1/4 a turn at a time. Mine would go left every time and it turned out the front Was the culprit. now mine 1.24 on a slick track with a 28x10.5 stock suspension

how the heck is the ft causing that ?

i scaled the car & set the ride height , only 1/8" from left to right in the front.

will lengthen the rt upper like you said but i can see the rear move "shift over" when i do that. will try
thanks again

nice 60' btw i went from a 1.45-50 to a 1.35 after i scaled car

Mine was off 1/2 inch on the front looked level but when i measured it from frame to floor it was off, adjusted that back to even qa1s in the front and it corrected almost all mine would raise the front and immediatly turn left right past the 60 foot mark. when i evened it up it took it almost all of the left turn out then 1/4 turn in the bar, i can let go of the steering wheel now and the car will drive itself, i am not a chassis person by any means. just trial and error this worked for me. Anti Roll bar is set at neutral, stock mustang springs in rear with upr upper and lowers.

ck 2 make sure the rear is square .If not adj on of the lower control arms they are what make ur wheel base. If one is longer then other it will cause the rear to be out of square so when the whells are up the car will driver 2 one side or other. If they are the same ck the lower boxes 2 make sure they are not moving around

Same here i adj the uppers with no load neutral i adj one upper for pignon angle than the other so the bolt geos in with no binding
also the anti- roll bar neutral with me in the car
after at the track when my car was going left or right i adjust the lower lenght 1 turn max at the time

check to make sure nothing is binding on your housing, especially with your antiroll. My racing buddy fought this problem all year with the car driving to the left so bad, he would not run the left lane. Found the problem when we switched from aluminum adjuster rods to steel rods on antiroll. Binding on the wheelie bar tabs. The problem definently in the rear.

man i had this problem took the car to the alignment shop. found rearend was out of wack. found the lower control arm bolts were bent. take your nut loose and put a impac on the bolt and spin the bolt to see if the rearend move back and forth. check all 4 bolts.

to answer your question yes the uppers are for setting pinion angle and centering the rearend. use your "ARB" to make car go straight. you can adjust left side or right side. you could shorten the rt side or length the lt side to make car go straight. if none of the bolts are bent.

i measured ft edge of ft rim to rear ft edge of rear rim only like 1/8th difference or is this not correct ?
That measurement will differ, if the wheels are turned. I wouldn't count on that. Set the car up in the air with the front and rear suspension loaded. Maybe have all 4 wheels on cinder blocks. Drop a plumb bob from each side of the rearend at the front or rear of the axle tube and mark it on the ground. Then do the same on the front end, from the grease fitting on the lower ball joint. Measure and see what you have.
