I have a 88 notchback and am doing a mini tub project. i changed over to a moser fabricated 9in with stock location control arm mounts. with all the new parts bolted in when i jack the car up to ride height the uppers hit the ARB. does anyone have any suggestions here i dont know what could of changed bewteen the 8.8 and 9in if they both have stock location mounts?

I would say that the upper mount is not on the stock location.

On the Moser the upper mount is just welded on top of the housing which moves the mounting point up that is why our housing is built with the top notched out to enable the mounting point to be in the same location as an 8.8 housing, and one hole lower.

That is what ive been wondering. the upper mount looks like they just slapped it in a jig and migged it on, like they would any other housing and its not true the driver side is tweaked and you can clearly see it when i try to bolt the upper control arm on. im thinking about cutting them off and moving them down. any suggestions before i do that?
