I posted this in the electrical tech forum but there is more traffic here so I'll post it here too.

To run a Mag44 on a sbf with a jesel/danny bee belt drive, is there a way to drive the generator off of the front end of the camshaft??

There's a bunch of different adapters on the RBS supercharger site that I could fab something up that MAY work.

Maybe not a good idea??

I know the best would be to just get the Wolfe kit and drive it off the crank?? How much $$ is the Wolfe bracket/kit??

Thanks,
Sean

Call Wolfe on Monday he will get you on track! I would not put any more load on the belt drive than the entire valve train already does, but that is just my 2 pennies... A lot of guys including myself have run fuel pumps on them but I now have a gear drive

Danny bee makes a 3bolt hub now to drive that. I run the Wolfe piece and have had 0 problems. I have had customers run the mag off the belt drive and had no problems. Either way will work.
