Other than easy access and maybe lighter/less parts, what are the advantages to using one of these? PRO's/CON's.......

PRO's....as mentioned above. Looks trick/cool. Any more?

CON's...cost more? Can only be used with a belt drive or....? Belt loss/stretch/wear? What if you run one with an alternator on the motor.....more suseptible to EMI since aforementioned parts are closer to each other?

Read that it allows for easy rotor phasing

They are for minimal clearance apps like blower, tunnel rams etc.

They also belong in the garbage can.... cross firing mess with high cylinder pressure.

How often does that happen? Probably not a good thing for a power-adder motor....;)

Ditto, when you don't have the room, you use what fits.
Especially when you're too cheap to spend $600.

the crab dizz are not a good idea flyin4d.. hi comp, n.o.s , blower they like to jump and cross fire. prone to cracking also..
