I'am trying to get information on programming a boost retard curve into my 7531 box - - the question is ....Is it assumed that when programming that 0.00 is actually zero or is 0.00 actually 14.7 atmospheric pressure - I'am running off a 3 bar MAP sensor also and I'am trying to see if I need to compensate for the curve - - I have my current curve starting at 14.7 but was told that it might possibly be wrong. I appreciate any answers. Thank you.

With the box hooked up to the laptop and ignition on, read what the MAP says. Will be somewhere around 14.7 but varies due to local elevation / baro. Whatever it reads (say 14.7) will be 0 boost, so thats where you're retard curve will start (at 14.7). Then at 10psi boost it will be 24.7, and 20psi will be 34.7, and so on. Anything less than 14.7 will be vacuum and you can increase timing that way if desired at idle / cruise.

Good luck.
