That's how it should be. If that was in Chicago they'd be trying to charge the lady and the mayor would be using it saying we need stricter gun laws lol. Something similar happened this summer. Gang bangers shot and killed an off duty cop on his motorcycle while trying to steal it. The dad ran in the street and shot at the robbers. The dad got charged with having a hand gun in the city (Chicago for a short time this summer basically outlawed hand guns) later charges were dropped

we just had a dick try and rob a bank, he had a lady as a hostage, when he left the bank with her, he slipped on the ice, enough for her to run, they took him out-bam, no trial needed
