So talking about our next T/S combo and I want to get rid of the damn bottles.
What would you build if money was no issue, and you wanted to save time on rebuilds during the season & maintenance.
I wanted to go Pro-Charger, but that is too much to learn & modify on the car.

I know Sonny makes a nice 727" on a 5.0 block, what about a nice 700 incher on a 5.3 block???
Lower stroke is always a good thing. Any real world experiences or thoughts??

Thanks Guys.

I was just recently daydreaming about a 721” 5.3 engine. 5.05x4.25 sounds pretty cool to me

I'm thinking it would be a great bracket engine??
Good power, and no giant ass crank in it with all the heavy parts that go with it.

A Sonny street engine at 727 cubes would be more reliable than anything else I can think of....

Playing with the math, 5.00 bore & 4.50 arm I'm hoping would make the power with max compression on meth.
Less weight should help get a full season of runs in??

Roots and a small bbc would be my choice on meth.

That would be low maintenance and make a full season??
Don't blowers on meth need a bunch of maintenance??

Yes it would make a full season. What makes you think they need maintenance? Or just looks intimidating from that standpoint? Which I understand if you've never ran one or been around them much. I've been around several that go 2-3 seasons without even tearing them apart. And they race everywhere. And not exactly the same comparison, but when I had my blown sbc (110 gas) I didn't do anything to it for almost 3 seasons.

I read that meth was hard on the blowers and they needed new strips every so often??
Of course I would also have to spend a bunch of dough on the chassis.
I have a tiny fuel cell, and would have to cut the front off to fit the 8 gallon cell :(

Bored again today?

You ain't buying anything.....

You just like to see yourself type.

A 400" sbc with twin turbos would be more then you can handle....
And your car....

You don't have to run strips at all. Depends on how much you are really going for with the blower/times. You can run hardened strips that aren't as tight to the case and will last longer. One I know is on it's 4th season without being re-stripped and runs the same number. Fowlers here in Columbus does that service for $200 so still low maintenance.

Step 1; Define "definition".

Home run right out of the gate. It's like watching Musk in action.
