Monty please make this thing a sticky I want this rude individual to have the opportunity to see this.

I can't seem to find the message with you trashing me on Motown Muscle, but there are folks who are kind enough to inform me.

Here's your quote.

Chris Uratchko is a scum bag that screwed us out of many sets of pistons. And for butch kemp, who is he, what has he done that is impressive, NOTHING just like you, A NOTHING. So go pull smoke up someones ass that cares to listen!

LETS GET THE FACTS STRAIGHT since you do not seem to know what you are talking about. Oh yeah, take that car off your web page as I would NEVER USE YOUR PISTONS. I don't care if this affects my relationship wtih other Companies, but I WILL NOT TOLERATE FALSE ACCUSATIONS.

THESE ARE THE FACTS and there is neither MORE or LESS in the story.

FACT. You approached me at PRI to sponsor the car, in December 2002.

FACT. You made me the first set of pistons

FACT. The first set of pistons had the LATERAL GAS PORTS PLOWED THROUGH THE 'LAND'... Do you even know what a land is?

FACT. You told me that wouldn't hurt anything. DUH, I'm an engine builder dude.... you think I'm stupid?

FACT. You made me a second set of pistons. These pistons had the ultra high tolerance top ring groove, with something called a SECOND OPERATION performed.

FACT. Your second operation was NOT SET UP CORRECTLY in your machine, and you were OUT in tolerance. RESULTANT effect was the ring would only fit in HALF THE GROOVE.

FACT. YOU CALLED TO CHECK on my progress and I told you of the MORE PROBLEMS I WAS HAVING.... response? FACT: "Glad to hear everything is going good." Again.... DUUUH.

FACT. I had to HAND FILE THE RING GROOVES 2 WEEKS BEFORE THE BIG RACE SO I COULD ACTUALY MAKE THE RACE.

FACT. I arranged for you to do the pistons in JANUARY and I received them middle of MARCH.

FACT. YOU DIGITIZED MY CYLINDER HEAD to make a piston dome, AND STOLE PROPRIETARY INFORMATION BY FILLING MY PORTS WITH MOLD SOLUTION for your so called head guru.

FACT. I NEVER PROMOTED YOUR PRODUCT and instead, WARNED people to stay away, which I am CERTAIN got back to you. And proud IT DID.

FACT. YOU THEN sponsored Nick Bacalis, who had your pistons completely COME APART on the dyno. I know I know..... engine builders fault right?

FACT. I have more horror storys from folks you have SPONSORED than I can even begin to write about... I'd be here all night. But I will not speak for them.

FACT. You have my car on your website still..... kindly REMOVE IT.

NOT ONE SINGLE STATEMENT HERE IS FALSE. AGAIN so your simple mind can understand it.... there is neither MORE NOR LESS to the story.

Boy am I PISSED OFF that you would DARE even bring this up, after the JUNK YOU WASTED MY SEASON WITH.

Your overly thrilled PROMOTOR...

Chris Uratchko

My experience with Diamond was also a bad one. This is not to say the pistons dont work for others but for me they didn't. I went 3 years without a burned pistons from Bill Miller. I made the switch to Diamond and ended up replacing pistons at every event. Different styles of pistons were used with no luck. Everything pointed back at my tune up as it was said by Diamond. In Columbus I tested to see if it may have been a tune up problem.. I installed 4 Bill Miller pistons in the problem child cylinders and 4 Diamonds in the others.. Well net result is the picture I posted in the nitrous forum... Again I had run for 3 years without burning a piston to replacing 4 cylinders, around 4-5 sets of pistons and having my heads redone due to melted aluminum on the valves and chamber...

I NEVER publicly bad mouthed Diamond before. I made the decision to accept their sponsorship, and therefore it was my responsibiltiy for the consequences. I too was warned by someone who even WORKED THERE prior years....

But, DIAMOND has obviously chosen, after 2 years, to call me out on their own issues and as far as I'm concerned, Mike P. is their representative. So Mike you have chosen this path along with Diamond, and you can reep the consequences. You opened a can of worms you aren't prepared to deal with.

I use ROSS pistons exclusively for all my engines and their pistons are top shelf!!

Sounds like a good idea Jimmy.

I don't know why they would want a scumbag like me on their website anyhow. I have ALWAYS given big props to all the companies like BES, Pro Systems, Edelbrock, Ross Pistons, and many more who have provided me with great parts and service(not sponsorships), and would even have done MORE for Diamond in a sponsorship, had their service and product been up to the level it should have been. Now they get personal 2 years later, without a single bad word about them on a public level, and now they're gonna get CALLED OUT.

Sorry to hear of the shit work you guys got from diamond. I've seen Joysee's run Bill Millers and JE cnc stuff.. flawless!!!

Me, I use the JE cnc slugs in my pig.

....Not cool to steel others port work when a chamber was there to be dig-i-tized.

Jeff,

They didn't even bother to clean the release agent out of the runners... :smt005

JE has great stuff too!!!

Ross has really stepped up their program in the last few years... very impressed with their quality, and they have a forging right now that just works awesome... not quite an fsr type piston, but close.... it holds it's shape and makes great power as a result.

I know of alot of guy's that have had very bad luck with Diamond as well. one uses them on his arca car and the piston's come apart every race another guy that I bought my old heads from said he know's guy's at Diamond and he get's his FREE and he has to send them back because the machining is crap he check's every piston very closely and said if they weren't free he wouldn't use them at all and told me to stay away so I guess that's good advise
