Im doing a stick setup on a smallblock ford. I have a mcleod sfi bellhousing. What is the best mid plate setup for a stick? I am leaning towards making aluminum ears like the stock car guys do. If i were to buy a midplate and sandwich it inbetween the block and scattershield, will it impavt the pilot bearing engagement?
