Mickey Thompson Super Summer Shootout Friday July 3rd & Saturday July 4th
On both Friday and Saturday Nights you'll see Scott Palmers Nitro Snorting Top Fuel Dragster shake the Ozark Countryside! If you've never seen a Top Fueler make a pass, it's one of the things you never want to miss in life... You FEEL it more than hear it as the 8000hp semi-controlled explosion rattles your rib cage!
Palmer will be making passes both nights and we'll also be shooting off a truckload of Class C Fireworks on the 4th!!! We think the truckload of high explosives will last for about 30 minutes, it should be a very cool show! Marty nervously says "hehehe - there ain't no way I'm setting those things off..." so we'll have some pyrotechnics professionals lighting the fuses...
And just like all ORP Shootouts, you'll see some great racing action with Pro Mod, Pro Street, Outlaw 10.5, True 10.5 and Drag Radial classes. With these cars you never know what's going to happen next... Will they smoke the tires? Put it on the bumper? Go straight? Blow up?
You never know and neither do they!! It's racing excitement that you don't want to miss!
On Saturday we'll also have the Rods and Mods All Out Performance Car show over on the spectator side. Check out all the cool cars while the racers are getting ready and between rounds.
It'll be great no-holding back shootout racing, great food and some cool fireworks to celebrate our nations birthday! Come spend your 4th of July weekend at Ozark Raceway Park for action you don't want to miss!
