I use the fogo and kamado joe brands in my regular joe and small joe.

Cowboy has to be about the worst I've used so far, never again

Does anybody have a recommendation for lump charcoal that gets scorching hot? I've been using the standard Kingsford in the blue bag but I'm looking for something that will get significantly hoter.

I really like GFS. It last the longest of any I have tried in my egg. BGE is good but you pay for the name.

Looking to incinerate something ?? Sounds like your using charcoal briquettes, they only get to 500* or so. Any hard lump will get over 750*. Shit had my joe upto 900* by accident once. You also need proper airflow to get best results, and unused coal will get hotter then second round coal.
