LSX Shootout Features Larger Purses & Large Bonus Prizes for Event Winners
The following are the LSX Shootout race classes for the 2011 event:
· JE Pistons Drag Radial: Drag Radial, the fastest heads-up LSX class, features seven and eight-second turbocharged, supercharged, or nitrous-equipped LS monsters.
· ELR Performance All Motor: All Motor is designed for the engine builders as it features naturally aspirated late-model GM vehicles getting it done all-motor style.

· LSX Real Street: Real Street was a new class introduced in 2010 designed for many of the real world LSX racecars around the U.S. LSX Real Street is a single-power adder class for “real” street type LS based racecars on drag radial tires.

· Proform LSX Rumble: By far the most popular class for racers is the LSX Rumble class. Designed as an index-style class, LSX Rumble allows racers to pick an ET index they will run through the entirety of eliminations.

· GM High-Tech Performance 5th Gen Camaro Shootout: The four fastest 5th Gen Camaros from the 5th Gen Camaro class will race heads-up where the winner will be crowned the world’s fastest 5th Gen Camaro.

· Tremec LSX True Street: This class is for “true” street cars, which are street-driven, licensed and insured.

· GM Performance Parts World’s Fastest LSX Challenge: Once again GM Performance Parts will recognize the world’s fastest LS-powered racers. GM Performance Parts will pay a $250 cash bonus to any racer who wins a category using an LSX bowtie block.
