Im looking to do a cam swap in a LSX 376. Can the lifters be removed through the center valley w/o removing the heads?.

Any recommendations on a readily available turbo cam that can use stock springs? Motor is still new and will have a PTE 82 mm turbo. Street only.

this can be done but you are going to want to upgrade the valve spring and i would put better lifter in it

I put the caddy racing lifter and comp spring in my when I changed cam

I was going to run the new borg 76r gangster turbo on it but plans have changed

Plenty of guys go fast with stock lifters. But I think you practically need springs on a turbo ls motor to go racing.

Lifters stay in place via the trays gm uses to hold them strait. Just dont keep cam out for long.

There are no trays in the LSX block. Thats why im asking. It looks like there is just enough space to pull them through the intake valley.

If the springs are yellow they are LS6 springs.

Your really going to need a spring with more seat pressure for boost.
