Trying to decide which way to go and weighing the pros and cons of each.

I have a complete take out LQ4 and 4L80E with accessories, intake, harness, ecu, drive-shaft, etc. The LQ4 is sitting in the garage but needs a rebuild, different intake, different front accessories, oil pan, modded harness, mounts, etc. I could sell my 406 to offset some costs though.

Currently in the car is a stock block, crank, rod 406 SBC with hyd roller cam, AFR heads, forged pistons, etc. It has maybe 10K miles on it and runs like a champ. IT has all the factory accessories including cold A/C that was just gone through. Made 365rwhp/405 rwtq on mustang dyno.

My car is a street car/driver going to the track a few times a year. I want to drive it on the highway as I currently do with the ac on, radio, but with overdrive and EFI.

What would you guys choose with budget in mind?

LQ4 with 4l80E or 406 with Holley HP EFI and 4l80E??

kind of a weird question. for what you want if starting from scratch Id say go LS based but you have a good running combo already so unless you have money to throw away run what you have
