I am trying to fight a low rpm miss problem on my 540. When you are accelerating, slowly (not making a full run) it has a miss. Everything is fresh except the plug wires. I am running r5671-7 plugs and am running methanol on .035 gap. I am thinking it could be too hot of a plug but that was my recommendation from my builder. It goes away when you hit the throttle and pulls smooth to 7500 rpms. Pulled the cap off and took some corrosion off on some of the terminals hoping that it would fix it but it didn't. Here is my basic combo:

13.1 540
bmf 350 heads
solid roller 280's @.050 774 lift
super victor
prosystems alcohol dominator
msd digital 6 ignition box with msd coil

Just a couple of things I have ran across on mine causing same thing light/medium throttle low rpm miss. was air fuel off only at that point and also timing off. good luck.
