So what have your plugs looked like on the 150 shot? If everything looks kosher I see know problem going 200-225 on pump gas, especially with the low compression ratio. If it'd make you feel safer, you can always use 108 or 112 but as long as your setup is doing good on 93 why pay that extra for the "Race Gas"

I disagree about the cheap gas, when your spend 10,000 on a crate motor and one detonation can burn it up do not run cheap gas, I have always been told on a nos motor run the best fuel you can afford it is cheap insurance against a bad tune up and the 1.00 -15.00 extra per gallon is cheaper than a new motor or one trip to the machine shop

Running higher octane fuel on a low compression engine can sometimes make it run slower, but it's less than .1 seconds.

If you are running it on nitrous higher octane can not hurt you. Low octane certainly can! Put in 110 or 112 and you should be fine. Watch the plug straps for heat. Pull a lot of timing and work it back in as you get used to tuning it.

I would start-off pulling 12 degrees and read the plugs from there. Easy enough to add timing. Not easy (or cheap) to replace pistons.
