Im looking for some thing like a regular et street tire or hoosier that has the same or maybe a little less section width to replace my 295/55-15 et street radials with. I know a 28x11.5 et street will fit no problem just want to stay with something with more tread contact.
These are the specs on the 295/55-15s I have now.
Tire Compound:R2Tire Overall Diameter:27.8''Average Roll Out/
Circumference:
87.0''Tire Tread Width:10.9''Tire Section Width:12.0''Wheel Diameter:15''Spec Wheel Width:9.5''Approved Wheel Widths:8.0-10.5''Tire Weight:35.0 lbs
I thought hoosier made a dot tire that was a 28x12 that had a little less than the 12" section width, The 295/55-15s fit really tight. i want to try a bias ply like the et streets.

On a 10" wheel, the 28X11.50-15LT ET Street will measure close to 11.9". That would be the largest size I would go with.

Thanks,

Jason Moulton
whats the actual tread width on the 28x11.5? Looks like its only 8.5 that would suck to go from the 10.9 on the tires I have now. I really want to go back to a bias ply tire. I know hoosier offers a 28x11.5 and their tread width shows to be 10" wit ha 11.2 section width. right now thats the way Im looking to go.
