I need a mandrel to run my alternator and cannot find one. The Innovative balancer does not have the locating pins like my ATI did so my current will not work.

Anyone use something like this?

I called, they don't and didn't give me any options really. Their mandrel bolts to the same holes as the procharger pulley and with the procharger pulley it has no way to register to center.

For everyone else, I told him on the phone that we usually just make a piece in the lathe that uses the I.D. of the pulley to center the mandrel.

Balancer have a 3 bolt chev pattern?

What's the od of the hole in the center of the balancer?

Crank bolt stick out past the face of the balancer?

Its actually a 6 bolt since its a blower balancer.

We got it figured out, once I punched out the 2 locating pins in the balancer from when it was on an ATI, realized that the ID of the balancer and OD of the mandrel is perfect. The Mandrel needs .1 milled off the flange thickness as it sticks out past the balancer and would interfere with the pully.

,Went and mic'd it at lunch and heading over to a buddy's next week to put the mandrel on a lathe.
