im going through a long distance relationship right now{over 1000 miles} and its so tough

whats the longest and farthest long distance relationship youve ever had to deal with

weve known each other over 15 yrs and things have been serious a few years now,we have an understanding that we can see other people-we desperately want to be together but it seems like our lives may never intertwine again like they used to-and i dont know at this point how to handle it-it would hurt alot to call it quits, really im just confused

I don't envy you one bit. My wife and I did the long distance thing at the beginning of our relationship, before we were married. About 1200 miles between us for 6 months, it can be done but it aint easy. Think about all the people in our armed forces they have it a lot worse.

Good luck with it.

I've tried some "short" long distance, around 150 miles or so, and still got bored and gave up.

I can't even hold one together when it's only 30 miles.
when you meet the one you truly love youll see-love has no boundries or limits you can place on it-except the stubborness of a woman

My gf and I are 50 miles apart, and have been that way for about 5 years now. We met in college when she was at a school 10 miles from me and we did clinical hours at the same hospital. Its rough at times, but we have jobs far apart and the job market sucks too much to find ones closer to eachother. We only really see eachother on the weekends due to workign different shifts also.

Than again, sometimes its nice not to be so close together. We enjoy our time more together since its not an everyday occurance.
