if an LS engine, the fact used the D/S front-I used that one for the Holley HP, and put an elect. one in the P/S rear-they read a little diff, but could be several reasons why, but their close enough

Id say rear if forced induction just cause more air/hp/heat might get back to the rear cylinders depending on intake.

I have the factory one in the DR front talking to the holley ECM & an autometer one in the PS rear talking to the gauge in my dash. The autometer usually reads about 5 degrees hotter.

Thats weird, I have it setup the same way and my passenger rear reads cooler. LOL. I don't really care, neither of them get to meltdown temp even after hammering on it, so I'm not scared.

My passenger rear reads 10 degrees cooler than the factory front drivers.
