Can swaged tube be used for lower control arms, never see it done. Didnt know if it was a strength issue or just custom is the norm.

I wastold the alum links are sacraficial on the circle track cars. When they hit hard the tubes bend and leave the brackets chassis etc whole.
Swaged would work if you could take 1 1/4 or 1 3/8 like a lot use and get it swaged to length and a size good enough for tapping threads.

that makes some sense. cheaper to replace the link then the chassis.

Several places offer swaged end steel tubes as well. We've used them in some milder street apps, not sure about anything strong enough for heavy drag race use.
