I am finishing a 55 chevy - am pretty sure i want to put lexan in for the side glass. Where can i find the good stuff? and can i get it thicker than 1/8" so i can run conventional window chanel and wiskers?? The quarter windows will not move but the door windows will be electric so they will go up and down - is lexan wrong for this application? Thanks Tracy

Lexan or polycarbonate sheet is what you want, it will bend pretty far without cracking. It comes in 1/8" 3/16" and 1/4" so you can get something the same or pretty close to the stock window. You can order it online but I would see if you have a local plastic supplier so you don't have to mess with shipping cost.
