Lets see what you have. Ill start with mine.

69 Nova 3300#s
434 sbc 11.1 compression
Afr 235
264-272 678-654 109
2925 intake ported by Mike Stark (CFM)
1000 hp from prosystems
1 7/8 hooker supercomps 3.5 ehaust dynomax ultra flow
Turbo 400 4500 10 inch nitous converter from PTC
12 bolt 4.56 gears
Front suspension is autofab tubular upper and lowers with qa1 r single adjustable coil overs
Rear suspension is caltracs, split monos, and rancho 9000 shocks
10 point chromolly cage , subframe conncetors and solid body bushings
28 x 10 hoosiers on a 15 x 8 rim

Car ran 10.16 @ 132 in the 1/4 and 6.43 @ 108 in the 1/8 this if off the trailer with no adjustments to the car at all with 30 degrees total timing with no jetting to the carb and leaving off the foot brake. I am shooting for another 2- 3 tenths so i am looking for 9.80's. This is a Fun street car that i run on 93 octane.

77 vega, 3050 lbs, 400 ci sbc, pontiac 867's, HV 1005 intake, 950hp, 248-254 .614 .600, 10.2 compression, 1 3/4 hooker supercomps, 3" exhaust to rear with dynatechs, 4200 "nitrous" converter, glide, 4.11, 28 10.5's, stock ft end with 90/10's, ladder bar rear, 10.50 @ 128 on 91, did run 9.80 on 100 shot on 91 also

I know you said 10 and 9 second combos but I have a little 355 that runs low 11's.

I am deffently gonna bump up the timming till my mph starts falling off. This seasons its 9's or go home. Ryan there is nothing wrong with a 11 sec streeter. Nice combo by the way. Man i wish my car was light like your vega. Nice combo too.

i forgot you played with pumpgas with your car , did you try the true radials with the bottle Kev ??

Thanks! I think with a good set of heads on my motor it could easily dip into the 10s. The heads on the motor are a set of "2nds" from dart and arent to pretty lol

Kcvega what is the lobe sep on your cam ? Those 867 heads are great my buddy has them on a 396 lt1.

I know but not 10's but it did it when the temperatures where in the mid 90's. I think with good weather it would have gone high tens.

High 10's at 127 jumping and bouncing to 100 ft at 3600lbs. New suspension, and 150HP should put us somewhere special. ;)

my 383 was a PG motor when my buddy had it in his 86Blazer 6yrs back it,s best pass was a 9.99 , heads where some 1st gen Track 1s that where ported and flowed in the low 300/310range , ported Bowtie intake , 950hp carb , 12.5/1 srps , 6 in Eagle H-beams , 4340 Eagle 3.75" crank , cam was a solid roller , .680"ish lift , 270ish/280ish @.050" , 1 3/4" headers , vacuum pump , airbox sealed to the hood , turbo 350 with 5000/5500stall , and i think it had either 4.30s or 4.11,s rear tire was a 29.5 x 10.5 truck weighed roughly 3200lbs ran low 10,s allday

lun40119 i really want to know what u run with that killer so please keep us inform when u do... I should also add on my 10.16 pass the car had a 1.45 sixty foot.

I have heard of people running 12.5 on pumpgas but that was in a lt1 not a convential sbc. If its pumpgas what is your secret?

No doubt.............it is 3600lbs though for the record. We are covered in snow right now, and I pick it up in a week and a half.....................................so as soon as the snow melts. Its on!!!!!!!!!

Gen 2 is reverse cooled..............couple buddies at 12:1 on pump gas...............just pulled the valve springs on of one of them today. :)
