After my burnout I'll stage the car. Press the transbrake I mat the pedal. I have a delay box with starting line enhanser set at 1800 rpm. 8/10 of a second after the tree comes down my msd 7al-3 switches to my launch chip at 4500 rpm. Then leaves. Thats how its worked for the last two seasons. My problem know is when the car leaves it feels like its still on a rpm chip for less then a second. then takes off. Normal 60' 1.25-1.28 these last three runs 1.76-1.78 et's are a second off 8.80's to 9.80's. I changed launch chip to another chip second pass and same problem. I checked the msd box in the pits with a meter at the socket for launch chip. It goes to zero when it supposed to after a simulated launch. There nothing in the delay box that could cause it because there no timers set up in it. Could the msd box be switching over to my burnout chip (6300rpm)? I'm stumped.
