2005 Land rover free-lander 2.5 liter V-6. Timing belt broke. There are no timing marks on the gears. Land-rover has a special tool/fixture to hold the cam gears and some type of line up pin that goes on the crank, so you can replace the belts.

My question anyway around this special tool fixture, the dealer is the only one that I know that has it. Its like a grand for the set. The engine is already apart and ready to put it back together.

Any help would be appreciated.

Looks like a PITA. I'm guessing it was the main timing belt that broke. It appears there are marks on the rear timing gears and an arrow on the crank sprocket if that helps any. Look up the procedure for camshaft or head replacement if you have alldata.
