thanks guys that helps. has anyone ever seen or heard of someone running a wishbone facing the rear of the car i would think that it would work the same way just curious if you have any thoughts or experince it would be appericated

You're correct, either way they are mounted, they are still triagulating the rear end, keeping it from moving. The single heim end can be mounted on either the housing, or the crossmember.
