Awesome! For me anyhow. I'm a one cup a morning kinda guy (two at most), so I love mine. Easy, fast and no cleanup.
Worked great for first 6-7 months but now the machine doesn't work right (stop mid brew/have to unplug to reset it etc)
Now I have to figure out how to get this thing repaired...may have to go back to the good ole reg coffee maker
It isn't dirt. It is scale, minerals and salts in the water build up and it can't heat the water effectively as the scale acts as an insulator. The vinegar is basically an acid wash to remove it. Rinse it well after you descale.Run white vinegar through it. Its probably just dirty.
Do you filter your tap water? If not why not buy a gallon of bottled water just for your morning coffee? We filter our tap water and and have not had any problems in the year we have been using the machine minimum 3 cups per day.I have one as well, I really like it. I do run another cup of water through it after my morning cup. Just seems like it keeps it a little cleaner.
Speaking of cleaning it, does anyone have any other tips?
